Spy family x Introducing a new member of the Desmond family with the latest chapter in the series, and the latest entry takes this a step further by deepening Desmond’s main mystery as Yor Forger discovers more about this new member of the family! The Desmond family is the reason the Forger family is together in the first place as Twilight eventually needs to get close to Donovan Desmond using Anya and Yor for help in doing so. But a wrench was thrown into the situation as he ended up meeting Damian’s mother, Melinda Desmond, while Yur was running errands.
While Twilight’s previous plan was to form a family unit, enter Eden Academy, and get close enough to Donovan’s son Damien to finally meet in the same room, Melinda is offered a strange and unexpected opportunity to connect as she now meets Yor in the wilderness. But while there’s a chance, there’s also a very deep and potentially dangerous mystery building where the new chapter teases that Melinda is hiding something sinister about her feelings for Yor and the Forger family in general.
Chapter 66 of Spy family x She picks up shortly after Yor is formally introduced to Melinda, and begins telling Loid about their first meeting. Melinda ignores Yor’s apologies for Anya punching Damian in the face, and while she initially laughs, she ends up putting on a more serious and serious face to get Yor off the topic altogether. She discovers that Yure has no idea about Melinda’s political connections, and Melinda wanted to hide it from Yure in the first place. But despite all this, she really wants to be friends with Lior.
But what makes all of this so shady is the fact that Melinda keeps making these tough faces when it comes to how she wants Damian and Anya to be friends. You naturally don’t pick up on these intense feelings, and although it’s been made clear that she is far from both her husband and son, it’s still a dangerous and strange situation for the Forger family. It’s making the path more difficult for him on Strix from now on, so Melinda will be one to watch.
